The project will be focused on isolation of microbial strains from our clinical samples for a Bloom Science drug discovery project.

Essential duties and responsibilities for laboratory and computational internships
- Accurate recording of experimental setup and findings
- Frequently present ongoing or completed experiments to project team members and direct supervisor
- Adhere to common EH&S and safe work environment practices
- Work will be performed onsite at Bloom’s location in San Diego; 20-30 hours per week
- Perform all duties in keeping with the Company’s core values, policies and all applicable regulations
Completed Biology and Chemistry courses
If Undergraduate Student:
Current undergraduate student with major declared in the field of Biology or Science related field
Highly adaptable to daily workflow changes
Utilizes rapid problem-solving to excel in a high failure rate environment
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong learning orientation, curiosity, and passion for science and patients
Essential duties and responsibilities for art internships
- Generate weekly visual art projects based on or discovery research
- Frequently present ongoing or completed projects to team members
- Work may be performed onsite at Bloom’s location in San Diego; 20-30 hours per week
- Onsite only

Able to provide a small digital portfolio of prior work
Self-motivation, and a strong drive for mastery
Highly adaptable to daily workflow changes
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Eligibility
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to commit to the full 8 week time frame.
Must be entering junior or senior year in high school or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
